Group Couples Massage Workshops
At Momentum, the reason we started offering classes is simple, I help people and couples create long lasting and enduring "AHA" moments. See for the longest time bodywork and massage was between one or two spectrum. Very clinical or not clinical. The fact is, for couples, it is something entirely different.
As a couple you want what is best. You are creating or continuing a long life together. Maybe your outdoorsy people, active, on the go. Maybe you are career focused or an entrepreneurial couple, then you know the chaos that is your life at times. You relish time together, you wish there was more. You wish it could mean more! Now it can:
Momentum has created the ultimate couples class. Those that want to understand or already understand the true power of bodywork or massage. The type of physical and mental healing that nothing else can provide. The type of relationship power that few will experience.

Group Couples Foot/Hand Massage Workshop
The main aim of Thai massage is to re-balance the flow of energy in the body using the system of 'Sen' energy lines. These are similar to the meridian energy lines of Chinese medicine but follow the natural contours of the body. Unlike the techniques used in Western massage, the Thai method uses a rhythmic movement to apply pressure to energy lines and points, together with muscle stretching and compression. Although it is known as massage, it has more in common with Japanese Shiatsu or Chinese acupressure systems of bodywork.

Private/Group LifeStretch Class
LifeStretch© is a mobility stretch class designed to help you become more flexible in body, mind and spirit. It uses a technique called StretchWave to flow and oscillate the body. This adds mobility to joints prior to stretching. The brain and nervous system are then able to learn new movement patterns to quickly gain increased range of motion. This class is fantastic for functional strength, flexibility and movement. We use self-traction paired with breathing to yield pain-free movement. LifeStretch© helps you to have a more efficient posture, greater mobility, and functional activities of daily living. And it feels great!

Beginners: This course is designed to get you started. In this course you will learn the basic postures, movements and breath work. These techniques have many benefits for health and wellbeing including flexibility, stress reduction and balance. You will also begin learning the first movements of the Yang style Tai Chi form. After this course you can continue with the more advanced level courses. (30min)
Simplified 8: This class combines movements with meditation, bringing balance, harmony and alignment to the body and mind. The Simplified 8 movement form that makes it easy, beneficial and fun -- right away. Students learn beautiful movement practices designed to emphasize the cultivation of inner core strength, improve balance, calm the mind and restore the body to its natural state of health. (45min)
Long Form: This class you exercise more muscles and joints and are called on to make more connections between various parts of the body. That means there is more practice of mind/body coordination, which helps in all aspects of daily life. Tai Chi started out with 13 basic movements and kept expanding until it reached 108 movements. All these movements are variations on the basic 13. (60min)
